This page takes you from nothing to a working AI team. Each step stands on its own, so stop wherever you have what you need.
Open tryperidot.io and choose Sign in / Register. You can use an email and password or Continue with Google. Free accounts work immediately. See Accounts and plans.
Without signing in you get a small taste of chat only. The coding agent needs an account.
Open Chat, type a message and press Enter. The answer streams in as it is written. Use the model picker next to the input to choose a model and an effort level. See Using chat.
The desktop app is called Peridot Code. Download it from the download page and install it. Sign in with the same account. See Install Peridot for every platform.
Peridot reads and searches your files to answer. When it wants to edit a file or run a command, a card shows exactly what it is about to do and waits for Approve or Deny. See Tools and approvals.
Find out how login works in this project, and have it reviewed for security problems.
The lead agent hands the exploring to the Researcher and the review to the Reviewer, working in parallel. You will see Hand to Researcher: … cards in the chat. Open Your AI team again while they work to watch the graph: working bots glow and pulses travel along the lines.
Read on to learn how it works: Your AI team overview.
Prefer the keyboard? Download the CLI, run peridot in your project folder, type /login once and start working. See Peridot CLI.
AI teams are a desktop feature. The CLI has the same coding agent, but without bots.
