Limits exist so everyone gets a fair share. Three things are limited:
Agents use more than chat. Every model turn of an agent run is a request, and each bot in an AI team makes its own. For long jobs on a Free account, watch the meter.
When a limit is reached, Peridot tells you which one and when it resets. Paid plans raise all of them.
In the desktop app and the web chat, open Settings → Usage. The CLI has /usage, which shows plan limits, a token heatmap of the last year and usage per model.
