The rules for using Peridot
Last updated October 23, 2026
These terms govern your use of Peridot, an AI workspace operated by Barmo Piotr Owczarczak, ul. Napoleona 28, 05-270 Marki, Poland, NIP 1251817130, REGON 545966574 ("Peridot", "we", "us"), email [email protected]. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Peridot.
Peridot provides chat and workspace tools powered by third-party AI models, on the website, in the desktop and mobile apps and in the terminal. Features, models and limits may change over time, and some features may be in development.
You agree not to:
AI-generated content can be inaccurate, incomplete or outdated. It is provided for information and productivity, not as professional advice. You are responsible for reviewing outputs and for how you use them. Similar prompts may produce similar outputs for different users.
You keep ownership of what you submit and of the output you receive, as far as the law and the rights of third parties allow. You give us the limited permission needed to process your content to operate the service, including sending it to our AI providers. You confirm that you have the right to submit it.
The Peridot name, logo, interface, software and documentation belong to us or our licensors. These terms do not grant you any rights to them other than the right to use the service as offered. The source code we publish as open source is covered by its own license.
If you are a consumer, or a sole trader for whom the contract is not of a professional nature, you may in principle withdraw from a contract concluded online within 14 days without giving a reason.
At checkout you ask for your paid plan to start immediately, before the 14 days end, and confirm that you know you lose the right of withdrawal once it starts. For the digital content the plan gives you, the right of withdrawal ends when the plan starts (art. 38(1)(13) of the Polish Consumer Rights Act).
Where the law treats the plan as a service and you withdraw within the 14 days anyway, send us a statement to [email protected]. We refund the price minus the part for the days the plan was active (art. 35 of that Act) within 14 days, to the card you paid with.
This does not affect your right to cancel the subscription for the following months, or your rights if the service does not work as described.
If the service does not work as described, write to [email protected] or to our postal address, with your account email and a description of the problem. We answer within 14 days. If we do not answer in that time, the complaint is considered accepted.
Consumers have the rights the law gives them when a digital service is not in conformity with the contract, including asking for it to be fixed, a price reduction or ending the contract. A consumer can also get free help from a municipal or district consumer ombudsman (rzecznik konsumentów) or a regional trade inspectorate (Inspekcja Handlowa).
To use Peridot you need an internet connection, an email address and either a current version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari with JavaScript enabled, or one of our apps for desktop, Android, iOS or the terminal.
Peridot relies on third parties such as Anthropic and Google for AI models, Google for sign-in and Stripe for payments. Their availability and terms may affect the service.
You can stop using Peridot at any time and ask us to delete your account by writing to [email protected]. We may suspend or end access if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms, put the service or others at risk, or if we are required to by law. We will tell you why by email, except where the law forbids it. Sections that by their nature should survive will do so.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or uninterrupted availability. This does not limit the rights of consumers described in section 9.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Peridot is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or EUR 50 if you used only free features. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
We may update these terms for important reasons, such as changes in the law, in the service or in our providers. We will post the new version here with a new date and tell you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. If you do not accept them, you can cancel your plan or close your account before they apply.
These terms are governed by the laws of Poland, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the Polish courts have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. The terms are available in English and in Polish; for consumers in Poland the Polish version prevails.
