AI that works where you work

Peridot is an AI workspace for chat, code and the terminal. Use it in your browser, on your desktop, in your terminal and on your phone, with one account everywhere.

Our mission

Make powerful AI feel effortless for people who build.

Most AI tools make you copy code into a chat and paste the answer back. We think the assistant should come to where the work is: your project folder, your terminal, your team of tools. And it should do that without taking the wheel.

What we build

Chat

Ask anything and get streaming answers with formatting, attachments and voice input. Pick the model that fits the task, from fast replies to deep reasoning.

Peridot Code

The desktop app and the CLI let an AI agent read your code, edit files and run commands inside the folder you choose, asking before every change.

Your AI team

Create bots with their own roles and instructions. The agent hands them parts of a job, they work in parallel and report back, and a graph shows who is doing what.

Plugins

Add commands and tools to the desktop app and the CLI. Every plugin is reviewed before it is listed, and installs the exact version that was approved.

Everywhere

The web, desktop and terminal clients for Windows, macOS and Linux, and apps for Android and iOS. Your chats follow you.

Seven languages

Peridot speaks English, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, French, German and Italian, on the website and in the apps.

How we build

You stay in control

The agent asks before it edits a file or runs a command, and shows exactly what it is about to do. Auto approval is a switch you choose to flip.

Your code stays on your computer

Tools run on your machine, inside your project folder. Our servers only talk to the model: they never open your files.

Open where it counts

The desktop shell, the CLI and the Android and iOS apps are open source, so you can read what runs on your devices.

Clear limits, no surprises

The limits of every plan are published, and your usage is one click away in Settings.
